Reiss Earthworks brings expertise to the task of removing undesired vegetation through efficient mechanical extraction and forestry mulching clearing methods. Utilizing heavy machinery and strategic planning to manage your property by clearing or grinding trees, brush, and undergrowth. We offer service options that leave no stumps, offering flexibility for future use of the area.
By adopting this approach, the preservation of all possibilities is left open, creating a flexible canvas for your property. Other services include forestry mulching, an aggressive brush eater, that leaves the root mass and ultimately the soil intact. Decisions regarding service technique, and organic pile management are made based on the discussed scope of work during the consultation. Seeding services are available to reduce erosion risks on a newly cleared site. At Reiss Earthworks, we are dedicated to delivering custom land clearing requests such as preservation efforts for specimen trees or entire species eradication.
Stump Free Tree Removal
Reiss Earthworks practices stump-free grubbing and dozing methods of tree removal, contrasting with mulching, where trees are ground into mulch down to the stump. Stump-free grubbing is well-suited for properties requiring land clearing services, whether for new construction, fences, structures, creating personal spaces in the wilderness, or driveways. Our vegetation removal process involves careful steps, starting with small vegetation removal using an excavator machine’s bucket or attachment. This includes uprooting bushes, small trees, and underbrush. Larger trees are approached methodically, utilizing the excavator’s bucket to dig around the tree, exposing the roots. The soil and root system around the tree are gradually loosened, enabling the lifting of the tree with a controlled fall direction to prevent damage. Any remaining stumps are removed by digging around the base with the excavator’s bucket, rocking the stump back and forth to sever root connections and loosen it from the soil, and lifting the stump while shaking off excess soil.
